how difficult/easy is it to convert an ex mod 110 from its normal 2 door configuation to a 4 door csw? has any one seen this done or done it??

cheers

Dunno but just for starters you'll need to change the tub, sides and obvoiusly you'll need doors and seats etc for the back.. Quite a big job but shouldn't be too difficult once you've got the bits to hand I would think.

cheers roy ,

i looked into it this morning seems to be easy enough conversion but logisticaly a pain in the ar*e to do , just gonna keep my eye out for a csw

If you do get a CSW the actual change over is relatively easy you need to strip the 3 door down to the chassis from the bulkhead back, If you have access to a forklift it is possible to lift the csw body in one piece, with the interior still intact. Then it can be lowered on to the 3 door chassis without too much trouble. I think the 5 door may have an extra pair of outriggers you'll know either way when you get hold of a csw. You'll then be able to sell all the spare bits and get some of your money back.

cheers for the input dudes, i have since decided not to do this {convert 2 door 110 to 4 door } and brought the 2 door ex mod 110 anyway as it has a sound chasis and bulkhead {also just needed to get a landy and this has quenched the thirst for now}

i intend to sell my vw corrado, then "at leisure" look for then buy another 110, a csw, i feel that i have finaly found the vehicle that suits me

hooked

Unless it's a pickup it'll have 3 or 5 doors (unless ones fallen off or been knicked) they don't do a 2 or 4 door model.
