Freelander 1 1.8 snapped head bolt trouble

Bloody good video, and very educational. Who'd have thought that the head bolts tightened into a removal assembly ! Bloody lucky really he didn't have to drill out/use an easy out or retap into a blind hole, using a plug (No 2) tap!

The ladder rack is removable, as you are meant to replace it when doing the headgasket.

LR released modified and strengthened ladder rack to try and reduce hgf.

Its along with modified coolant pipes , modified headbolts, modified thermostat, modified headgaskets , modified head dowels, modified coolant sensor, etc etc etc :D
 
modified coolant sensor? not heard of that one.

i didn't change the oil rail when i did my hg but is probly a good idea. Did do all the other stuff though
