1.4 Transfer Box / Superwinch H14W Winch

Hi guys,

Gauging interest in my 1.4 box I just had taken out of my 110 TD5. I thought there was a problem with it as horrible grinding noise > 50 - turns out it's absolutely fine (or the new box < 30k miles has the same problem....)

I'd like > £100 for it as far I as I can tell it's in good nick. If I don't get that I'll keep it for spares or to trade it with Ashcroft when I refurb my other box. You will need a PTO cover though because....

also attached was a Superwinch H14W which I have taken off for now as it needs a major refurb. It works fine (though I've never put load through it) but the prop need repairing/replacing and the engage disengage knob is stiff. My plan is to clean it up and put it back on but I'm not particularly bothered either way as I can always throw on a 'leccy one.

Throw me some sensible offers and PM me if interested.

Don't get rid of the H14!!! i've got one & dam is it good ( I pulled a full tree with it, put the hand throttle on while I stood outside had a brew & watched) . I've just given mine a full overhaul with new bearings to the shaft as well. Parts are cheaper than you'd think from Superwinch.

Agree a good PTO winch is worth its weight in gold keep it.

Thanks guys will probably do that - just bought (buying?) a house and now skint so need to raise cash.

I'm very interested in the T-box, providing others, or yourself, can answer a couple of questions.

Will this fit a Disco 300 Tdi R380? Will the standard Disco T-box PTO cover fit?

Should do. 99.9% sure. I had a t-box with PTO cover missing & and it fitted

Ex southern electric? lol I work there & know they're very well looked after.

Sorry, even at £100 we couldn't afford it.

If you still have it in a couple months, maybe ..

How much for the winch?

Sorry mate but I think I will keep the winch as others here have recommended.
