Back again guys
Anyone else had this problem ..
Basically my rrs is not breaking when breaking right . Its braaking a little then just feels asif it gave in braking after and leaves the car coasting on .
Brake fluid is full . New brembo discs and pads fitted well over a year ago and been fine . ( I do have a warped front disc though )
Tried a few emergency stops at slow speeds but as I said it just brakes a little them its asif it let's off and gives in. Scary **** !
No warning lights no fluid leak or anything .
Just wondered if you guys have experienced anything like it ?

Check for stuck callipers, it’s not uncommon on them.

As above check calipers . Also , maybe, just a thought, perhaps, for no other reason than for a wheeze, change the warped disc( and his brother ).

Have u had the brake service done u dear recall, just wondering if u have oil in it

I’ll find the pic for u as it’s easy to check by pulling off a pipe near the servo, have some clean rag and then check the pipe

This is the recall, phone ur nearest dealer with ur reg number and they will tell u if it’s been done , if not they will do it FOC

enclosed pic of mine that’s been done ,

Try putting ur Reg number here, might work

https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

looking at the pic ur see a connector circled red, undo that with some clean kitchen roll and see if I have any oil inside , if u do it will req the recall done

the pipe in blue is the brake mod

hope that helps

Pop vac pipe grommet out, and use a cable tie as a dipstick to check for oil.

What brake fluid did you use? needs to be Dot 4 SL6 and not just plain Dot 4.
