05 Freelander

Hello, I am considering buying a 05 Freelander with a 2.5 V6, I have read about many problems with the Freelander but not specifically the 05. Any input would be appreciated. I have always wanted a land rover, but I would hate to have my first experience with one marred with problem.

go for the td5 - my kv6 cost me £6500 in 13 months!

I think I am going to have to pass on this vehicle unless I can find a diesel, I have read way too many bad reviews verses good reviews.

Nope, cos the TD5 is in the Disco 2 and they are hideous.
