Hi, I have been reading about various issues with the freelander 3 door tail window, and most of the replies indicate a recalibration should fix the issue. First let me highlight my issue. if i open the door or press the down button on the dash the buzzer beeps at me and the window lowers to its down position. if i then try to close it, it will go up beep and go straight down again. i have tried the 2 different calibration methods to no avail. the only way i can close the window is to use the key to lift the window and hold it up until the regulator/motor trips ( i know this cant be good for it). if i arm the alarm system, then use the key in the tail door the window will go up and stay up on its own, but as soon as i dis arm it will open. This is getting very frustrating and harder to do now its getting colder the glass is becoming more slippery and harder to force shut. Can anyone shed any light on this please.
thanks

might be worth checking the micro switch which monitors for the roof being removed.

if you do a search on this forum, this has been covered before. You could also search for RAVE CD, and download it free, which is an almost complete workshop manual.

good luck with this, I know how frustrating it can be to be told calibrate over and over again.
