Hello,

I have an issue that is currently driving me insane. Bought a 03 td6 and had "fuel injection system" fault come up when under heavy load. Drives perfectly well when under normal acceleration but the second you floor the pedal it pops up the error and goes into limp mode. Turn the engine off and on and everything back to normal until heavy load again.

Had taken it to LR specialist. And 2 things poped out. Fuel rail.pressure fault and no2 injector reading high. They recommended changing fuel filter and then injector.

Since then i have replaced the no2 injector with a refurb one, changed fuel filter, booster pump and still no change.

I have read numerous forums and from what i can gather the things left are fuel pump in tank , rail pressure sensor, fuel filter sensor and finaly the high pressure fuel pump. Anything i'm missing?

Is there actually a way to find out which of the above needs attention without having to dig into the parts catalog forever?

Many thanks in advance!
Mike

Rail sensor maybe a good start.

Not sure, but I think there are 3 pumps on your car, the in tank pump, a second one in line at the front of the rear wheel arch and then the high pressure pump. The second pump is a known failure item.
