Wow, Holy thread revival!! I will need to remind myself how it works but the word description is not too bad as a memory jogger! Can you advise what the sunroof is doing, have you opened to tilt and aligned the motor cog as per the manual? Does it open fully and what happens when you close it??

Ok not aligned it as yet cos I couldn't see how to get the motor off, but when I close the sunroof it reaches the close position but carries on clicking it's head off until I release the open close button. Seems like it doesnt auto stop, it used to work fine it's just started a couple of days ago. Thanks for the help m8

There is no 'auto stop'. If you read the description above the design just stalls the motor against the end of travel drawing high current through the motor! Once the gear has started to slip and click then the cog and cable wear out and more slipping will occur. You have 2 options. 1.Replace any worn cables and the gear wheel on the sunroof motor. 2. Release the switch at end of travel before it clicks!! The box in the headlining is just to give a stop at the tilt position. Once the roof has clicked and slipped the tilt stop will be in the wrong place. To remove motor, drop interior light, sunroof trim inside and you can get a small ratchet in to undo the bolts and take the motor out through the light hole.
