Hi there, does anybody know where i can go off roading in my landy. I live in South Birmingham but am having trouble finding places to go in the midlands, there is absolutely nothing on the net that tells you of any place where you can pay and play with your own vehicle. Green laning would also be great fun if only i had people to go with who know where to go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. :D

Aston cantlow and 2 places south of stratford near halford plus one at leamington - cant remember name - pm me and will send more info - where in wm are you?

Google the ALRC and AWDC; both have lists of 'local' off-roading clubs that are members.
Brum has the Midlands Land rover Club, runs events & P&P's at aston Cantlow, most often. Depending where you are though, you have LOADS to choose from if you look a little wider. Pick one that has most of the activities you want, or simply Google 'Land-Rover Pay & Play, and you'll turn up half a dozen or more P&P sites. May not be 'local, but planning a day in the drivers seat, whats a little travel to get to a good-one?
They ARE on the net, so you either haven't googled very hard or your idea of 'local' is no further than the end of your street!

Hi i just googled what you said and found some bits n piece to av a go at. Cheers for that.

I wanna go wadding, we need some serious rain fall here in the midlands, last time we had serious rain fall everywhere round here was flooded, only prob was i was in a fiesta wishing i had a landy, now i have one, can't wait.

If you want a quick fix, free, wading trip, and I mean quick, Aston Cantlow Ford is bonnet height and bumpy...albeit only 2 min duration. Guess it depends if your in that location. The other events mentioned previously and by PM, but payable, have more wading stuff.

Terra, if your asking about ford, it is 2 mins from Aston Cantlow Village. Leave village pub with it on right hand side. go down road for about 50yrds. Turn right, proceed for about .75mile and it is on your right. fill your boots and your car if you are on standards.lol Seriously, watch the depth and flow of river, if in gd flow watch you dont get caught out

Also Keith i think its a good idea that i seal the side of the snorkel, the bit thats attaches to the side of the wing cuz its letting air in when i put my hand over the top of the snorkel. Should the enginge cut out if i do that or is a 200tdii powerful enough to keep going???

:D
