Belt tensioner bolt. Left or right handed thread?

I have a belt that squeels like a bitch, so I'm in the middle of doing the old 1 penny trick.

However, the bolt that holds my tensioner in place is as tight as you like, even with a long bar.

So, it is left for lucy on this isn't it? Or is it another arse about tit left handed thread?

Cheers.

If you mean the actual wheel that runs on the belt then it is left hand threaded. The pivoting wheel on the block is normal threaded.

HTH

Cheers.

Sorted it last night. It was yet another bolt that according to the Haynes book of bull****, shouldn't be that tight, but in reality was tight as ****, hence why I was wondering if I was actually tightening it up.

I huge bar and swearing got the bugger undone.
