p38 gas conversion

Will be converting my p38 to gas, is their any one out there who might now somewhere around the midlands who can do a professional job and not cost me the earth.

gas cons and cheap dont go together, theres 1 in brierley hill on the lye road i think, multipoint was around £1500 a while back when mar mate enquired i'll try and get the phone number for ya

Cheers mate, I dont expect it to be cheap but ive had various quotes ranging from 1400 to 2500, just looking for the right one, thanks again.

Had mine done on my P38 and Envrio Gas in Tamworth for £1700 including VAT. Went there on the recomendation if a friend who has had his P38 and also a classic done there and not had any issues.

Envirogas in Tamworth are no longer trading - they closed about a month ago. That's a real shame, their work was superb and well priced, and Dave Turner, the owner, a true gentleman. I had a couple of conversions done there and couldn't fault them.

i,ve had good dealings with hylton lpg near cannock although they did not fit my lpg they did put on a new vaporiser and set it up

Just been to some great guys in Washward Heath. Very good at what they do.

They are 2 brothers, asian, not that this matters. I had an older guy sting me and try to say that my system was knackered and should be replaced with his. After 3 days and £100 he did nothing to putr it right!!

These brothers had it sorted within a couple hours and knew their stuff. They fit Landi system conversions, of which i have the old version, and mine is sweet as a nut now. nearlt 200mile off 50 litres(bout £20).

Here is the website Birmingham LPG Conventions, Save up to 50% on your fuel costs and reduce harmful emissions., tell them I sent ya (Jason) if you go, as all they asked of me when they did a bit extra for nothing was that I spread the word!!

I think they charge £1600-1800. They work all hours and therefore get it sorted quick as well!

You must have a very light right foot that works out as over 18 mpg it may be running a bit lean is it multi point or a cooker ring?

Well just been back to rechack my tuning and all a-ok! I dont know the mpg, though the dash says about 10-12 at the mo after the last fill!!!

All I check out is how much its costing me per tank load!! And just found a real cheap filling point at 41/ltr
