fitted my rear load space cover that turned up today from fleabay, refitted the engine cover thingy, cleaned out the redbull cans from the footwells, and realised it needs fuelling AGAIN :doh:

had new sighs fitted at work today an the lads that did it turned up in a 10 ton cherry picker, they managed to get the truck up on the lawn at work,
BUT it pi#sed it down an guess what?





they got stuck:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi

so as you do i watched them struggle for nearly 2 hours
an then told them i could try to pull them off with the disco
at first they said 'it's 10 ton this truck is mate, you'll never shift it' i said ' it'll pi#s that mate'.
all my work mate's said it'll never pull that fooker

so after a couple of minutes thinking about it they said lets give it a try


so off i go to get the keys, some more shackles an extra lifting strops from the fitting shop an my disco,
after a few minutes of rigging up a cradle to tow the truck off we go!
diff lock on first gear low box,
nice tight tow rope an the truck is moving


the disco showed no signs of strain at all, just dragged the truck as if it wasn't there

a mate said he'd took a vid of me recovering the truck an is gonna send me the vid by e-mail, i'll post it when i get it
