Got LRO through the door yesterday and it has the most amazing thing in it (and no, i'm not on about julia again!!!) - they have managed to include a booklet (A6 in size, 52 pages but actually only 40 when you take all the ads and blank space an covers out) which claims to be a "complete guide to things that can go wrong and how to fix them"!!! Awesome or what!!!

All these years i've been trying to get what i need from the Haynes Manwell, off ere and the like but never will i need to again thanks to this. Wow, a complete guide to ALL landrover models in 40 A6 pages. How do they do it.

Had a quick look for what i have noticed to be the commonest problem i;ve ever come across, the need to replace prop UJ's, and somehow this missed the press (i would of course have recommended replacement with non-britpart ones which might have irked the main sponsor of the all encompassing booklet) but i'm sure this is only an oversight and it really does include EVERYTHING else (they manage to cram all the defender's problems and their solutions onto 8 sides!)

How do these people do it. Amazing or what???:D:D:D

40 pages? I could sum up what could and probably will go wrong in three words.

Anything and everything

Fixing it can also be be summed up in a choice of three words.

Ah, to be sure tis the incredible meeting of minds at LRO towers, we must all prostrate ourselves at the feet of their superior knowledge!!!!

thats nuthin! next months mag is giving away a free......yes FREE magic wand!

Oooh, goody; I could do with a new one!! :D

Erm.... Looking at my copy.... They say "all models covered"... yet i see no Forward Control section?

They need to get rid of the idiots that write the thing or get some proof readers who know what they're on about. The bollocks they come out with in that mag is unbelievable.

ahhh that would be the same bible that told me i can't carry my kids in the back of my series because it has no seatbelts:mad: took me all of 10 mins googling to find i bloody well can

I got a subscription given to me as a christmas present  However the free Oztent chair which came with it is the utter dogs bollocks :)

As long as they are over 4ft 5 is it not? Just want to know cos mine don't have seatbelts either :p
now thats what i thought but apparently in old cars etc kids over 3 years old can travel with no belt or 'child restraint' in rear seats, i double triple checked it on govt website and a few others, it comes under the very few exceptions right at the bottom of the list;)

all the mags are the same, complete tripe. I used to buy them when i started but its all bollox really, full of errors and written by pricks. Dont buy them, then maybe they will go under and from the flames something better (or equally ****e) may emerge.

Only paper source i buy now is the Overland Journal.
