sundon lanes near luton?

i heard there is a good place near sundon park but couldnt find it. does anyone know where this is?

I don't come from anywhere near there, but a quick look at a map shows a load of lanes in the Luton area ... Sundon, Lilley, Chalton, The Flints, all over the place ... I wish there were as many round here!!

It's Sundon Pit at Upper Sundon. It isn't technically legal to drive, I haven't been there, but I know a lot of people who've been going there for years. The police do visit from time to time, but only to nick illegal motors, if you're taxed & MOT'd they leave you alone.

As for lanes around here, there are local ones around Hitchin, Lilley, Offley, Slip End, Steppingley.

Sundon Pits is most definitely not legal to drive. There are a number of good lanes open all year round within about 15 minutes of Sundon. Hook up with one of the Herts lot to go look around safely... Spyderman is always out and about as are many of the others.

i use to walk my dogs round there and on one bit at the bottom there must be at least 50 burnt out cars the dump um over a 50ft cliff, good news tho i found 4 spare wheels for my sami while walking around with good tyres as well would love to be able to open it up as a site good hills good everything from walking around

Your best option is to meet up with us when we are out laning. I'll be about between the weekend and now as soon as I checked all my beasrings over. The pub meet info can only be Pm'd for obvious reasons.
You got a tricked up 90. with a snorkle we often go out fording and laning you are most welcome to come. Check out the 24th Jan link

From the link seems you have been to Devils pit. Have you ever been to Whaddon? Just as much fun but less damaging than Devils pit. I'm in Leagrave/Birds area Spyderman, Classic Kev and Ryder are all nearish. Jai

Yeah, bent my bumper there after my girlfriend reckoned it'd be safe to go for it! She wouldn't do it though!!

I've not done much of the work myself, I need to learn quicker so I can get to grips with it all. If I'm free I'm always up for doing something. Not sure if I'll have found this problem that I think is to do with my turbo by the weekend as it's dark when I get in.

Screwy, what up wiv ur turbo? I fitted my rear diff after work today in the dark, much warmer at 7pm tonight than last night.
