hi
sounds like a great project, im from bristol so chew magna is just around the corner from me, i think i chatted to you and your wife in your bugatti , its a silver ones isnt it, you were in winford garage fuelling up, i was the guy with the grey defender 90, i can remember you asking about land rovers then , so i see youve picked one up , if you need a hand doing anything please give me a shout.

hi
i remember you, its gary isnt it, yeah i picked up a 90 for a couple of grand, its a bit of a shed but that doesnt matter for what ive got in mind. i stripped some of the bits off yesterday and today ive started taking out the engine etc, i could do with a hand if you fancy getting your teeth into a project. i dont know what kind of time you have spare but any would be appreciated, i have a friend who usually helps me but hes in training in canada for 6 months.
if your interested i will pick you up at the garage you seen me at some time, you wont be able to find my farm as its down a small lane no one seems to know about.you can drive the veyron if you want.

just checked out hummer docs project, fair play to that man, my kind of man. making the pointless possible, even he gets the **** taken out of him, at least hes getting off his ass and doing something instead of just nailing some checkerplate to a series 1 and saying its a project.

to be fair they dont use nails that would be stupid they use (no nails) for that

If its speed then , think V8 as V12 will be too long also cooling system on jag V12 very critical , unless you get into the realms of chassis lengthening , GM eg chevy or probably pick up a 6,2 rolls out of a shadow or better a bentley mulsanne turbo with gearbox. quite cheap these days . Big diesels too heavy JMHO :smokin:

There's plenty of Landy's been fitted with small block chevvy V8's. Add a blower, a pair of 4-barrel Holleys and pour some nitro in the tank - should go quite nicely.

I've also seen a 110 with a Jag V12 mounted on the load bed, driving the back axle.
