Hello from SW France

Hi everyone
We have owned our 2011 Freelander 11 TD4 for over 8 years. From Ireland to Greece and now to France she has given us brilliant reliability and few issues aside from completely random temperamental central locking which has been dodgy for years and no-one seems to be able to fix. We don't worry about it anymore. At 14 years old and having been hit by a tornado in Greece 5 years ago and peppered with dings, we just leave it open in the knowledge that no-one would want to steal it or break in when our 50 kilo dog is usually in the back on guard duty. However, she died on us last week and I am flummoxed as to what the problem might be. So I'm going to Post on the appropriate forum and hope someone can shed some light as I cannot afford a mechanic in France! TIA

Near Italy? We are SW, Dept 32. Lots of Discos here! And a good Landrover Mechanic too, but can't afford him right now lol.

No, SW but far east corner of the TARN, touching on the Aude and the Herault.
I'll have to look up 32!

I think another member who lives over here may be a bit closer to you than we are.
