Hi Guys
2006 L322 Vogue TD6
Got an odd one here. I have tried searching but only seem to find a thread about coffee and walnut cake and lemon drizzle from a few years back.
Got 20 fault codes permanently stored in the LCM which I cannot clear off.
The odd bit is everything seems to work fine.
I walk around the car and all the lights, rheostat etc all work fine. The only "issue" is main beam bulbs and licence plate bulbs are LED and flicker with the bulb check. They don't put messages on the dash unless one is actually out though.
The screenwash and coolant messages only come on if the levels are low. Brake warnings only come on when the sensor wires break as they're meant to. The dash dims and brightens with the thumb wheel. All fuses throughout the car are fine.
Just in case it was the LEDs, I fitted brand new standard bulbs all round, but the codes persisted.
These are the codes:
0x000D Redundant inputs contradiction fault
0X0010 ECU transistor (line 3) fault
0x0017 Dimmer potentiometer circuit open
0x003C Please refer to service manual
0x0059 Transmission emergency program fault
0x005A Brake pad fault
0x005B Washer fluid level fault
0x005F Check the coolant fault
0x007A Left front side Lamp faulty
0x007B Right front side lamp faulty
0x007C Front right turn signal faulty
0x0080 Left High Beam Headlamp
0x0081 Right High Beam Headlamp
0x008C Left tail lamp faulty
0x008D Right tail lamp faulty
0x0090 Left rear turn signal faulty
0x0093 Left rear fog lamp faulty
0x0096 Interior security rear - fuse or cable
0x0098 Please refer to vehicle service manual
0x0099 Licence Plate Lamps faulty
Not sure if the LCM stores backup data within it and the first 2 lines are the real issue here. Maybe the transistor is blown causing it to lose access to the backup data or something soft like that?
Anyone any idea what the issue may be?
