A good number of us have already fitted the larger battery so what issues would you expect?

Sorry if i missed this.. what battery are you suggesting? I made an 020 fit.. just.. with some modifications to the positive terminal

I'm referring to the MF31 (larger capacity) not necessarily physically larger though I've not checked the dimensions.

Ah yes. Not sure about the size either but would struggle on my later car because of the master fuse

110ah 920 cold crank was the battery most recommended on three different fora. Several people said it was over powered.

No-one with lived experience will say that battery is overpowered for an L322 Vogue. As stated by @kermit_rr the best battery is the most powerful that fits. As everyone else has said, in one form or another, don't ask if you won't listen, and...... good luck.

Thanks for this. Mines an every second or third day driver. Often motorway or main road driving. Also living in southern Spain, cold mornings are rare.

Good that cold mornings are rare, in my experience, Varta batteries do not like cold weather.

Obviously not as you have ignored our recommendations. Hopefully you will prove us wrong after it's been fitted for a few months.

Asking for opinions and 2 or 3 on here suggested going one way with the battery. On the other fora, 12 people went a different direction with different opinions. I'm not able to predict what people say in advance and I canvas a broad set of groups. Not all of them English. Some are Spanish and some are Polish.

I wouldn't say ignored, just others said a different thing.

I don't have a problem with asking for different opinions but I wouldn't ask someone who's advice I'd ignored how to fit something someone else recommended.
