Again, something you cannot fight. The masses seem to think the systems they sign up to won’t lead to ultimate oversight and control. It won’t be long before real money disappears like the £note

Cannot agree more.
Assuming everyone has a smart phone is like assuming everyone has a car or credit or debit card.
Satdi night our son in law was going to split the dinner bill with us, he produced £95 in notes, we got the credit card out. The waiter came over and said to S-i-l "Sorry Sir, card only". Which fortunately we knew. So he had to give us the cash and we paid the bill.

As you say it is for the convenience of the company not the customer.:mad::mad::mad:

But that assumes tech always works.
In France there is a constant trickle of people walking or driving up the road past our house............. to get to the point where their phones get a signal.
To say nothing of having to rely on it always having money on it AND battery power.

My Ma is a case in point. She is eighty, has no interest in tech or streaming or emails or online shopping or any of that hooha. She just doesn't work that way!
Her employer sends her emails to my address because she doesn't have one of her own, bank the same, utilities the same..
Is it unreasonable for outfits to do things the old fashioned way until these peeps shuffle off?
