Have been up since 8 but had a call with a mate, then time with herself doing puzzles etc. :)
MIL (94) just rang to ask if (when we go shopping) we could get her some toothpaste.
Now, We have gone shopping for her on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday and it's only on Saturday she asks?
Wife says no, I'm not going shopping I will bring you some toothpaste when I come up today.
MIL says, "You are coming up?" (Wife always goes up on a Saturday to deliver the meat she got for her Ma on the Friday).
"Oh what day is it?" Silly old gal has been reading today's paper with the day/date emblazoned across the top but doesn't know what day it is?
I hope to goodness I die before I go Ga-ga....... Oh wait it's too late. 🤣

Re: the other matter, it's so frustrating when these investigative procedures are inconclusive. You think there'll be some answer to the problem, and maybe even some sort of treatment that'll make things better, but it's just more of the same - waiting, more investigation, more waiting and so on. Have you considered getting your own sigmoidoscope and having a look yourselves? There's usually a few on Ebay.

Re the jointing, with a new French build you make stage payments and have the right to withold the last payment for up to a year unless all the snagging is done properly. Our Parisian friends, who had theirs built by the same company, paid for it to be finished "Clés en main" i.e. keys in hand, and they had no problems with the paintwork. There is also the guarantee "décennal" i.e which lasts 10 years, and it was due to this that we managed to get it done properly in the end. I think they just thought they could get away with it with a pair of foreigners. And I do have to say this was really the only problem, apart from some of the floor tiling which didn't show a problem until well after 10 years.

As for the other, we will get a lot more into it next time when they can get a decent view! But yes diverticulitis is a real pain in the ass, in more ways than the obvious!

I'll tell W about the sigmoidoscope off ebay, ...........through the open window of the car, sitting in the driving seat, with the engine running!!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Actually just told her and she peeped herself laughing!

All the gas ovens eye have seen have had a seal all the way round to keep the heat in. Wot make n model issit?

We've been driving through bits of it going to see the dottir on Marsh Lane!! Yup there is a LOT of it about in E Dorset, and Wilts. Hopefully the squiggles will be able to hide up trees etc, but dunno about the hedgepigs. :( :( :( :(

Obvs, and I doubt they'd go digging at randam, but as I said to W as soon as I heard about it, what scrote is going to be daft enough to put ill gotten gains in a abnk account once they know this is happening. They'll find some way to squirrel it away.
It'll be peeps who don't realise they have made an honest mistake who'll get caught.:(
