Have you got those seats in your Landy yet?

Mate... I got new seat runners!! cost me £270 for a set off ebay found someone listed them a day after i got 1 second hand one for £25 (it was shot, so needed refurbing anyway!)..

But I fell into the realm of doing other stuff first.. i was like "ok I need to secure the battery for MOT.." then this happened.. (images) £900 later, tray, split charger, new batteries, ton of 250amp cable to hookup

Then this morning I was like well if I've done all this work I might as well put down some form of rubber flooring.. so £600 later on ebay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334818623164)

Now I'm debating to order some sound proofing as well..

so tldr.. not yet but "soon".. apparently i've taken up the whole garage now with defender parts.. casually 2 seats.. window screen.. old parts etc

I can safely say if anyone tries to steal my defender they will get a left right good night.

13 years ago AG was funny. The wit was quick, funny and sharp. Funny fings happened like pikey turning left, finding his wheel coming oft. Only one wheel nut fitted because he fergottid to fit the others. He later found them on the dash. We laffed at his mistake but it was a warning to us all as self tinkerers. Peeps tipping their tratters over on and oft road. Ratty being the most memorable. Putting up funny pic's of fings going wrong at wuk. Peeps projects and showing us progress while asking for advice. Advice came in two forms. There were often fights but they fizzled oot. Lot more variety of topic with a lot more peeps starting new freds. The forum was more popular back then. Several hundred posters logged in using the forum in the evening. Tech sections were rolling a lot faster back then. AG was considered a bit rough for Freelanderers. We seemed to get the most flak. Back in the days when there were forum oft road days because owners used their vehicles rather than wash them weekly like modern trattererists does. Salisbury plain being popular. Eye liked bala but it closed. Yarwell before that but it closed. All of this seems to have changed. Kin br*xit, walrus and the political freds seem to be the norm. Small number of peeps trying to control fings with bully boy taktics and their followers. Starting to see why so many of the long time members dun't post anymore. Some still visit occasionally but dun't post. Forum tells yer when they last logged in. Surprising how many peeps have drifted away over the years. Even fellow freelanderers who still own freelanders but can't be bovvurd wiv the forum. The last few months ain't been the best with the vitriol. Peeps seem to have overdosed on crispmus spirit this year. If eye want a laff eye jump back to 2010 to read the funny freds from back then. Tis nearly ten years since @Vagrent left. Eye can understand why. He were a daft turnip.

The reason back then was peeps joined because thay had land rovers and wanted to share experience and give advice remember that guy with the underseal company you just would not no about Ripp offs and ruff work
To many on here with the soul aime just to winde peeps up A lot of the right ups on maintaining and doing work on your Landy are top notch but thay are getting fewer and fewer
