I hooked up a magnetic connector to the accessory socket in the boot so it just disconnects when I forget and drive off :D

You’ll probably be fine bud. When my water pump blew didn’t take long to evaporate what was left. Not surprised with the hole it made in the rad. had no choice but to keep driving. Red overheat light comes on then limp mode kicks in shortly after. Eventually it cuts out. Let it cool then it was good to again, rinse and repeat few times….didn’t bother it one bit. You may even remember me fitting a the replacement metal impeller (was while ago) never had any head issues or any lasting effects. Hardest part was meticulously getting all the OE plastic impeller shrapnel out.

Given the age of the pipe off the scrapper I've ordered new ones today (aftermarket). Seems OK so far!

Don't quote me but I did look into it as mine is ****ed as well 🙃 unsurprisingly
When we did voltage load testing, and when the car was locked it sat at 11 amp draw for about 7 minutes every time. Turns out the cd stacker is jammed - might be causing the media system to stay live…thoughts? However, when the cd fuse was pulled it started working again and the current draw behaved.
