Yea just take breaks, babies go on the lathe and I meant to put shawl. 😅
Always keep a few on the go so can rotate and make sure they have different stitch patterns. Amazing how working on a piece can make shoulders ache.

I get an awful tight chest when building bicycle wheels, it is the hunched position I adopt while doing it I think.
Was so bad once I thought I was having an angina attack. Eek! :)

I sorted all the duff ones & left what I didnt want plus the trailer tyres were a tad on the flat side when loaded :oops:
so I said id come back & get rid of the scrap the chap said thats very kind but id come a long way so he'd do it.

Head lap depends on the size of slate & pitch of the roof there are charts to work it out id need to go & refresh
80mm is about right for the top slate to cover the nail hole on the lower slate. I think lol

If I need another dozen slates I know where there are a few lying aboot. ;)
