Evening all. In a Kyriad in Chateauroux. Took ages to get the WiFi working.
Very hot on the drive.
Had one worrying moment. In single lane on Autoroute due to roadworks, suddenly going slowly as 2 lanes were merging into one and with no hard shoulder the ACE light came on.
Usually it goes to amber and is to be ignored as the Foxwell says "relay", (it goes off on restart and hasn't come back for ages,) but this time it was full flashing red dinging and stayed like that.
No way I could stop.
Eventually an emergency lay by appeared so pulled in. I had said to W that I'd turn the engine off and back on again but first I checked ACE fluid was there and circulating, which it was.
Belt was running smoothly, no weird noises no leaking fluid underneath I think.
So, stopped and restarted engine, all back to normal!!!
Big phew!!!
Flipping thing!
Dogs were hot despite running with A/C, have drunk quite a bit but only one has eaten her dins.
They are asleep now.
No kettle and coffee making stuff.,
. Unexpectedly, maybe it's only in Campanile that you get this now.
Still, restaurant opposite opens in half an hour.

The shear driver (digger wiv big claw which munches metal) got loads of metal stuck in the claw instead of stopping when it
first got a chunk stuck in it he kept munching for 4 hours until it wouldnt munch any more.
Tis a contractor theyve never broken up boats before I spent 4 hours with a cutting torch n crow bars n sledge/hammer
getting all the layers of metal out of it. We've done this for over 10 years & never had the issues they have.
Not just metal stuck in it, wire, bits of thick rubber & 8" brass flange all wrapped in 8mm steel. I was boggin when id finished.
That was a hard 4 hours.

I nearly swapped my misses for 10 camels n2 babby camels I could have been a rich man in Egypt.
I was doing the deal when she was standing there
I told her id steal her back.... aye right catch ye love She did take the hump haha
