What did you do with your Range Rover today

Unfortunately it's a petrol-only way I can see to get at it is to move the alternator. Tried moving the air con compressor but not enough room. Sensor is between alternator and air con pump-just underneath the accelerator cables.

I would take the alternator off. That's actually quite easy. I wouldn't worry about disconnecting the battery, I'had no issues with it. Just a bit of a faff to reset the window limits etc.
 
The tailgate button on my green p38 was f'ed. They pulled out wires and you needed to open it by touching one of the wires to the body.

Today I learned why they did that

You can move it to one side but it's only ever given me just enough room to undo the cables. I wouldn't want to risk grounding the positive
Ahh yes my bad, my post was not clear... I meant I wouldn't worry about disconnecting the battery and just disconnect it.

I have a low cost replacement option for the boot button. Water and ice proof.

Taxed it, it ran out a while ago oopsies 🤷‍♂️,
Robbing buggers 395 a year, it should be 30 a year and hear me out on my argument,
My mates 2005 diesel fiesta is non ulez but 35 a year to tax,
Mine is ulez compliant its kinder then his to baby polar bears and ice poles and all that,
Mines ulez compliant, mines low emissions friendly why should I be charged 10x his tax when his isnt
