Got the broken bolt out of the rear body tailgate area, all back together now!
Rear wiper squirts! So that's back together anorl
I've still got to tackle that on Otto. Been too busy this weekend with ordering bits for both bikes and discovering the puncture on the rear of the current commuting bike. Off to the shop with that tomorrow hopefully, I don't do tyres myself, especially on a bike with no centre stand.

I plug regular punctures on my bike, unless approaching the wear limit.
I know the dealers aren't allowed to use string anymore, but they aren't unsafe

Place I'm going to is a one man band backstreet place - did the MOT on my other bike last month. If it can be plugged from the outside safely I imagine he will do. I see online quite a lot of the plug type from the outside fittings have a 40-50mph restriction on them. The hole is only about 0.5-1mm though - slow leak. Loads of tread on the tyre and the hole is in a tread block not groove. Looks like it picked up and then lost something not much bigger than a small nail on the way home on Friday. Had dropped from 29 to 7psi in that time.

Last slow puncture i had, the bike nearly bucked me off!! Like I'd ridden over a brick on a bend! That wasn't nice. It wasn't completely flat just low maybe 15-20 psi
String has all sorts of warnings on it, because they have been relegated to emergency use only to get you home.
That's all we used years ago.

No need for an internal battery on a trailer hook up but there is often an internal battery on a tracker so it will function with the main battery disconnected.
need to do some digging and see what its connected up to.. dont want it failing, only to find its an immobiliser too. cant see why else it would have so many wires connected to it
