Nae probs Odie;) :D
Glad tae hear it mate:D haven't ye got a co-pilot/ side kick with ye? if ye have, make the bugger get out and walk in front of yer motor and if he/she sinks.....stop;) :D :D :D

Just thinkin' back to when ah did me switch... It might've bin a bit easier to get to if ah removed the floor on the drivers side as well. Ah'll remember that for the next time:rolleyes: :D
Unfortunately i'm out there on me own (well, me and the beast of Bodmin that is) and i don't really wanna get stuck so i gotta take it a bit easy! Dint think i'm quite important enough for an assistant yet!!:D:D (workin on it though!)

Will bear it in mind when i do the switch, does it just go straight into the dash board light? Cheers fer yer help :D

Ah'm not too sure if it does or not!??! Ah'd have to have a look at a wiring diagram. There's three wires that come out of me chassis, one's for the switch and ah've no idea what the other double one is!

trewey's off-road recovery service is only a phone call away (so long as SWW pay the bill!). ;)
Cheers Trewey, will bear it in mind - yer'd have ta drive up pretty quick, some of them bogs are pretty deep! Yer more than welcome to come up n join in if you fancy a bit of moorland driving, tis only a SFP assessment but there is some nice gentle off-roading, i had a great day doing it today (and it's set to be really wet tomorrow so i'll try and do as much from the car as possible) - tis up on the moor round Colliford, if yer up for it!

just had a look at the manwell Odie, and it looks like it does;)
Ta Buster, the chap at the garrij when i had the engine swap said he thought it was just a straight wire from one to the other and it was quite common for it to come loose at the top end then get wound round something and ripped off the gearbox, which i guess is what happened with mine! Don't mind so much, only am a bit worried about not knowing that it's switched back off when i get back on the tarmac, which might cause a bit of damage!
