Egt sensor

I’ve been attempting to install an Egt sensor today from dyno racing, , I have it working properly however with the ignition on it makes a droning noise , if I unplug one of the 2 wires going to the probe then the noise stops, the wires run through flexi metal conduit. I thought it might be earthing on the conduit but any other suggestions are welcome

What is actually making the noise? Droning from speakers would suggest electro-magnetic interference.

I'm suspecting the OP has taken his live feed from the sound system somewhere. So, feedback from the EGT sensor thermocouple is playing down the speaker wires.

I don’t know what Is making the noise, it makes it when the battery isolator is off but it doesn’t make it when it’s on

So when the battery is isolated by a switch the noise starts up?
Where is the noise coming from? Engine bay under the bonnet, in the dash behind instrument binnacle. Do you have any speakers and a sound system in the Landy?

Turns out the buzzing was coming from one Of the wires going to the Egt probe has stopped now

That's odd.
Presume the engine was running while it was buzzing?
