I haven't been in this part of the forum for a while so just read this through from the very start, all the time hoping for the magic words to tell us all that everything is going to be OK. Seems it won't play out the way we all hope for, but while there is a chance then there is always hope. I really do hope you pull through this.

Mine is now in bits and blocking the drive. I cannot be arsed to take the head off rhe scrapper until this one has been tested although the crack in #5 looks pretty terminal to me.

While the head is off I am mulling over options. Chains and sprockets is the obvious one, although I cannot drop the sump all the way as it is at motorway height. Maybe refurb the turbo - it might as well come off as a bolt sheared off in it. Maybe get the injectors refurbed? By that stage I am thinking £££ and maybe cheaper just to stick a Tesla motor and battery in it!

I think I had better start a new thread.

Just jack the chassis to get the sump off.

About £15,000 for a Tesla set up plus fitting:eek: Lots of torque, 0 to 60 in 5 seconds and a range of 90 miles if you are lucky:rolleyes:

My Android phone does speech recognition. I'm sure it can read stuff out too although never tried. CTRL + SPACE BAR on a windows PC, or maybe ot needs ALT as well.
