El scorchio today, I was going to repair some slates on me roof but it might get too hot.
Todays top tip for getting no flys in yer castle......poly bag with some 2 & 1p & fill with
water & hang em up the flys think its a wasps nest n feck off.

Traditionally if you went to a café and wanted a snack you'd be offered sandwiches (made with baguettes or flutes) . or a Croque Monsieur or a hot-dog. And you would get that as fast as any Fast food in any French MacDonalds as they have no idea what "fast" means.

I was in Paris in the mid 70's for weeks at a time and McDonalds had more or less just arrived and in true French fashion the Frites were good but the burgers underdone, the chocolate shakes were great!
The only think wrong with Paris was the Parisiennes. I had a great time there. I saw Star Wars there in V.O. and of course we got all the gags long before the locals had read the Sous-Titles.
Yes HFCS has ruined the health of a great many people worldwide.

Started on replacements for me front mudflap brackets this afternoon. Usual defender tools employed - spanners followed by hacksaws followed by lump hammer and cold chisels. Ready for the next stage - a bit of rust proofing (paint, wax etc) in the local area. That's for tomorrow. If I can stand the heat.

A N other bird for you fanciers, its a ****e pic soz but they are fast little spitfires. Note, must charge the good camera.
They are gathering recently and bombing the pool for watta. Very colourful birds.
If I tag a certain bird it would be out the bag straight away.

but seriously , have holidayed there and they were even rude to my ex, and as a frog she exploded a couple of times. Don't think they even like each other very much, well some of them.
The Parigo couple we know down here are superb, but they are far from the up-themselves sort!
