Strapped the knee up after a bath last night, good sleep and all OK so far. :)
Son came round yesterday, more discussion on what to do when the house is sold. Wifey says he can have 2 bedrooms for the kids and the dining room and Mini-barn. :)
Hoping for good weather next week Tues.. Thurs for the pre Holland test trip. :)

So we have had to postpone her birthday dins out tomoz as well.:(:(

However knee is slowly beginning to mend -slept better last night and it bends a little easier, though still painful. :):)
I'm going to see if I can order some of that K tape stuff off t net. ;)

Afternoon folks:).

Again a nice day but we didnt do anything;). But we did speak to the solicitor over zoom for nearly 3hrs now have the wills sorted, lets see what the drafts read as it may throw up a few more questions. Our heads are still a bit frazzeled :eek:. but all for the good we hope:).
There are allsorts of things to think of and more that you don't think of that shouldn't be an issue:oops:.
Anyway 2x wills, 4x POAs, 2x trust, 2x "Life interest" and we are 5k lighter in the pocket:eek::).

I would say that anybody who has joint accounts/property should look at "LPAs" (lasting Power of Attorney) for both financial and medical.
As strange/morbid as it sounds just dying is easy, but becoming ill, mentally or physically incapable, can put a whole different view on things.
If married its slightly different but worth checking.

Need to talk to a financial adviser now as I am ****ed at the amount of IHT that will be due:mad:.

But on a brighter note the little 4 hoofed thing happens to be a Boy and is now running around with most of the spindly legs in control:D. Not bad for a 3 day old:D.

What sort of evergreen is e.
We have some nextdoor and a couple in our garden, big buggers they are. but they drop needles, its like a prickly carpet, but the cones and needles are great BBQ/fire starters:).
So I wouldnt worry too much as long as he has water supply:).

I'm still 'ere, braveing the coastal winds stoically - I leave tomorrow.

Have had some problems with the van, things which could have been avoided if a more thorough 'hand-over' process had been done and I still hven't got everything under control! These modern digitally controlled systems are excellent if you have a degree in understanding them. It is not a case of swicthing on and off, every setting wants to know which variation of the multiple offers you want and in which combination would you like them etc. I'm all for eco living but this really is stretching it !
 
.... That I rechecked my order for my ER32 collect chuck and it does indeed say 11 Metric Collets and lists them on the Ad.
So why they sent me an Imperial one I do not know. I have asked them to replace with what I actually ordered and what they contracted therefore to supply.
48 Hours and then see if Amazon will refund. You never know. :)

Oh dear:( Hope it hasn't ruined your time away, and its stuff that can be sorted:).

Should have took a 10yr old with you, have heard they are up on that stuff, bit like a video game:rolleyes:.
