Well what a day so far.
Wifey and I in two minds as to when to eat dinner.
So have prepped it as going down the mountain to the flower festival. Also there is jazz on later, allegedly.
Arranged to meet Dutch friends inside the place.
So pooped off down, parked up went to the flower festival, 2nd day of. Bit of a bust as it has rained fairly solid for these two days. Very few stands rest have beggared off! Wifey bought a couple of plants and veg for her polytunnel, aubergines, peppers etc.
Went to the jazz place to buy tickets.
Closed of course. Notice on door, "Go here to buy the tickets" big walk around the outside of the building, (It's a media/show/cinema/ library building. Got to where the lickle map said. Nothing.
Went back to the front where we'd parked the car. Some blokey unlocked the doors, went in, then by the time I got there again he had locked them again and disappeared.
So gave up.
Drove off, within a couple hundred yards the 3 amigos came on. Stopped, switched off, switched back on again drove off, no amigos A while later, they came back on again.
Got home, Foxwell out, 3 faults read, shuttle valve, left front electrical, shuttle valve. Cleared and no problem. Turned car around, didn't come back on, we shall see.
I fink it might be the shuttle valve. Tho it's interesting that this only happened after I pointed the car downhill when I parked it last, which i don't normally do, and a bit of wet came through the sunroof opening handle.
;)
and no, we came home, had lunch and haven't gone to the jazzz!!!
(Shhhhhh! Whoopee do!)

I had a play in the workshop but didn't get anything completed so no video  I did enjoy a bit of 4 jaw turning though :D

As promised pics of the polytunnel under construction.
The foot of each hoop is buried underground in a 50kg+ lump of concrete. The bag of muck was 50Kg but with the watter to make it up, each one must weigh a whole lot more.
The rail along the right hand side is cos from that point down instead of it being pure poly it is fine mesh to allow for air to pass in and out. There is poly on a roller blind which goes down to cover it when necessary. From the inside. note the strengthening braces across each joint for the middle three hoops.

Note the bracing diagonal struts in each corner.

Here the strengthening joints in close up.

And once covered in poly.

All done in 2015, so 7 years old now.

...that I completed another 10 mile ride to test the capacity of the e-bike batteries. :)
It seems I can get 20 miles out of each 10AH pack so that should be enough to let me pootle around Holland in June. :D
Got my Covid Pass on my phone with no trouble. It seems it is only valid for 30 days. I wonder if it refreshes every day?
So log-on and get another one in 2 weeks time and that's a 30 day pass too? Anyone know?

Afternoon folks:).

Well been out in the garage today:). M said she wants the bumper out of the hall;) so on with the work to fit it.
Old 1 off and new 1 on and holes drilled, off again and clean up the stubends of the chassis, but to be honest they are good, so a bit of crusty inhibitor applied and called it a day will apply some more protection and get it all bolted up tomorrow:).

Sun is now started to show on a regular basis now, gonna have to look out me work shirts and pack the thick tops away for a few months:D.

We now have a fat Mare in the paddock eating the spring grass, which will save M having to get the mower on it:). Think she has about 10days to go.

We both think we have heard the Orioles but not seen yet, Which always surprise's us cos they are bright yellow breasted birds:).

Just been through that learning curve. It refreshes date-wise each time you download it from the NHS site. So valid for 30 days from the time of downloading.
