Morning folks:).

We are back home now that was a hectic week:(.
Got back last night to a cold house so lit the fire and have kicked it again this morning to get it going and get some heat into the house:).
We only have a couple of inches of snow and all the roads are clear so not as bad as we expected.

As much as its nice to see Mum & Dad its nice to be back in our own bed:D.

Big storm this a.m. at........ feck knows o'clock. Early!
Anyway, bin not properly emptied again so took a pic and sent it off to East Dorset Council.
Give them their due, last time I complained they were on it quickly. Not that it made much difference.
But this time not only did they not empty the bottom of our bin but they took a black bag OUT of a neighbours bin and left it on the pavement!:mad::mad::mad:

W in a terrible state every time she thinks about her health problem. But she only shows it by having huge nonsensical rows with me about summat which is nothing. Had a real ding dong last night which lasted until this a.m. when she finally started to cry and let me know what was really up. This after having said earlier on, she wasn't "that" bothered.
Do wish wifeys didn't do this sort of thing. All I can do is hug her when she lets me know she needs it. But I do need to know when.
Maybe I am not sensitive enough, but not through want of trying to be. Wish I was a bit more psychic.:(:(:(
Off to the auction rooms in a while, maybe that'll take her mind off it a bit. ;)
Lots and lots of tools this time.:D:D:D:D

.... some small 4-flute cutters arrived from Amazon, so I had a little play.
Nothing fancy, just tried to cut a slot in bit of round bar steel, seemed to work alright. I was a bit sceptical after seeing all the Youtube naysayers saying these little things are only "toy" lathes and not worth the space they take up.
I suspect there are plenty of men in sheds turning out lovely little steam engines and such on mini-lathes and mini/micro-mills that will disagree. :D
