OK, the mechanism is not very strong when it comes to key operation as it was designed for emergency use only. Just a guess but I suspect something has broken. At least you can open the door to get the card off.

No idea, sorry. I fitted the lock assembly and ignition barrel from my scrapper so the locks don't match the VIN now

Swopping them over I'm gonna run the p38 for a few months as it's been stored for a bit give it a good clean up and a few decent runs and convert as much petrol to smiles per gallan as I can them may be just may be sell it........

Saw a note on the windscreen of the wife's car, some guy put a "if you want to see this car call me" thingy under the window. We probably need to put some dehumidifiers in it. The windows are all misted up which is unfortunate.

Got a small list of things to do though:
Change coil packs
Change the brake accumulator
Change rear air bags
Probably new tyres
Find the wiring fault in the passenger side door loom. It trips the doors locks unless you unplug the door outstation, but replacing the outstation didn't fix it.
Most likely new discs and pads all round.
Could probably did with new fluids at this point too

After that, hopefully she'd be good to go.

Is never easy bud. doesnt seem long ago you were showing us photos of when you brought him home as a new pup
