..that my "lovely" neighbours (who seem to operate in a bubble of "what we want") have had to be requested to arrange for a tarpaulin to be spread across their scaffolding because their brickies are peppering my newly painted wall and my mini-barn with little gobbets of mortar.
FFS! they put a tarp up on the other side where the nursing home is, but US? Oh... just FÜCK us, we don't matter.
Go & throw loads of pea gravel or similar into there sand

We tried to contact our neighbour due to the “builders”making noise...that my "lovely" neighbours (who seem to operate in a bubble of "what we want") have had to be requested to arrange for a tarpaulin to be spread across their scaffolding because their brickies are peppering my newly painted wall and my mini-barn with little gobbets of mortar.

Spoke to him on the phone and was not concerned & said they can carry on….
up on my return tonight I said to the Mrs looks like someone has nicked all the lead off the house.
And nope I’m not ringing the home owner to inform him yet, wait for a bit of rain.

I’m amazed no squatters have moved in as you can walk straight into the rear garden & into 2 bed sit/summer houses.
Neighbours the other side don’t mind our dogs barking at people through the garage door as it’s a better deterrent

Positive frame of mind.
We has a small jobbing wurkshop fella that we call in now and again, knocks up special tools, jigs an wotnot. Had a quad bypass a few years ago, I was the only customer who rang to see how he was doing after so we are friends of sorts.
He was in last Wensdi fer a new jig.
