I gave my Astra to my eldest daughter today. She sold her car to wbac and drove mine home. It was sad to see it go but she is grateful and the smile was worth it

...That in an absolute travesty of the metalworkers art I put the first of the two strengthening braces on the front frame.
The tube is 12mm square @ 1.5mm so should be plenty strong enough for the task.
I managed to blow a big hole in the wall of the tube , that I then had to fill in.

I may attempt to put the other side's brace in tomorrow.

The gardener is currently removing 30 feet of 70 year old Privet hedging. When she's done all of that I will ask her to sort out the weeds on the front .
