I forgot to tell you that it is dry and sunny 'ere this morning - but is it going to last is the question.
I had a surprise this morning - Welsh Water sent me a cheque for £30 to compensate me for the recent interruptions to supply. Very kind of them but the interruptions never interrupted my supply! I am the only property in the hamlet who does not get their water from the problem supply pipes, mine comes in over the fields at the rear from a new water main put in some years ago. I will have great pleasure in returning it and asking them to get their plans up to date - this is a no profit company who seem to enjoy distributing their profits to all and sundry.

Rain, hail and assorted rumbles are forecast here for later today, but I did put the washing out early and even the duvet is dry ... win, win

...it is a lovely Sunny day, so I thought I would spoil myself and put heavy and sweaty clothing on and do some welding.

Here is the Big-boy's trike assembled a little bit more.

This is the view from the back, and the axle-inserts are fully in to the minimum track width (remeasured and is indeed 59cm or 23 and 1/4", for those of a doubting disposition).
Yes! I can step over the spine (that's a relief).

The bad news.....
I will have to reduce the "minimum track" even further to get through the gate as there is a further impediment at that pinch-point.

But this is a simple operation, so no real harm incurred.
