X308 is the nicest of the V8 bunch however rust is an issue, and timing chain guide rails can be troublesome for pre 2000 models.
However you'd struggle to drive a better motor especially if you could snag an XJR or Super V8!
Mine is the 221hp 3.6 with is spritely enough a claimed 0-60 in 8.8secs however I've measured it at 7.3 so no idea where the internet is getting its figures!

I was talking to a chap in the boat yard the other day he has a hoose on Islay works for Argyll n Bute
does all the property sales ect im sure he used to be the planning/rates dep.
Hes got a newer landy. frezzer cant mind his name.

I built a transistor radio from one of his kits when I was in the skool electronics club
. Would have been about 1966. And the first pocket calculumator I had was a sinclair, very difficult to use and wasn't any better than the slide rule I was using at the time. It was soon replaced with a casio which was a million years ahead of the sinclair. In fact I think his C5 trike was better than his calculator, says it all really.
