Subject to cv19, there are a few of us planning to go. We all live not too far from the Showground making it an easy visit/fun day...let's hope the 18th is lockdown free

eta: just rx'd notice that Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble is off...so won't hold breath for the 18th :(

I'd love to go...but stuck in France til next Tuesday with delayed return due to falling down stairs whilst carrying mountain on Monday. Left ankle gave an almighty "CRACK!" followed by melon sized inflammation. Hospital, x-rays and 3.5hrs of miserable french nurses, all confirmed no broken/fractured bones. Can now gently change gear/use clutch on Landy and have crutch as mechanical back up. Resting foot in buckets of cold water and gentle exercise before Tuesday return...

Enjoy the spares day :)

Is that the best excuse you could come up with?
Sounds painful! At least a Landy is so effortless to drive, you’ll hardly know you’re injured at all!

Shame, hope all’s ok!
Yes, thanks. Mrs K is six months’ pregnant and has been advised not to have the vaccine as present so I need to avoid situations which might increase the risk of getting or passing the virus to her. I know it’s outside but it’s still an increased risk so I’m avoiding it this time. There’s always next April, as I probably won’t get to the October event either. I’ll just have to use eBay and FB marketplace for now!
