Just seen the 3rd P38 i was supposed to be having by another toss pot lying dealer Ford Mather of impression automotive. T200LHE he has now put it up for £9995!!!! LMAO. What a joker he is. I can see he has had the car resprayed fully by the looks of things and this would explain his many months of delay tactics and having my deposit before he negated on the deal. ****er. He is still putting crap in his listing which he cannot support. I did my checks on the car and none of it checked out. Its still got the crappy wheels on it, its got 132k miles on it, its an S1 P38 model and the interior is shabby. I would have been the 11th owner too.
If anyone looks at it then just bear in mind i paid him £6000 for it and now he is being a greedy tosser and trying to cash in on the jobs he had to put right @ £9995. The left rear corner has been filled and bodged too as it had a huge dent in it and the front bumper was all buckled in the middle so looks like that has been bodged too. He had continued issues with the A/C and Hevac too. It used to have a twin coachline on both sides which was a sticker coachline stuck over the top of the original looking like a right mess it was. I told him i wanted it removed and he agreed and i think it opened up a right can of worms bodywork wise and this is when his so called excellent customer service started to go down hill and his lies started coming in thick and fast so just be weary chaps if you look at it.
These dealers really do make me laugh albeit sadly some unsuspecting person will be taken in by all his BS and no doubt buy it. Its still got no M.O.T or tax on it either and no doubt that will be a fake ticket on it too.

IMPRESSION AUTOMOTIVE - Ford Mather. AVOID

Apollojesus, I get emotional when it comes to losing more established members

As if you'd get rid of me that easily - way to many idiots buying Rangerovers - where else would I get this kind of entertainment?!

Just looking to 'upgrade' to a late L322 4.4tdv8 with all the toys, bells and whistles. Got enough cars so buying another without selling one wouldn't make me popular!!

If you say it's an investment, that usually smooths things for a while

At last got round to cleaning all the previous owner's kids muddy paw prints off the windows - thank goodness for Karcher window vacs! Prodded al the wires and connectors to the BECM since I remembered it was after putting the seat full back that the speedo packed up. Couldn't get the multimeter on to see how the feed was to the speedo though.
Took him out for a 30 mile bimble on mixed roads. Got stuck in motorway queue from a breakdown and no overheating signs. Aircon blows cool not cold, but no clue when it was last maintained so a flush / re-gas is on the list of jobs. Speedo is now working again, but sluggish above 20 as it was before - approx 10%. Difficult to tell but looks to possibly be a bit fast below that so may well be worth having a dismantle and a play with the offset and slope pots. Definitely only the speedo that is wrong - EAS worked exactly correct at 54mph (GPS checked) vs 48mph (speedo reading) for going to highway height, then back again when I dropped back a bit. Cruise control wasn't surging but staying steady at +/- 1mph. Overall very happy with his behaviour today. Time to get the service and work booked now the speedo functions again.
Lew drops of oil under the motor for the first time when parked after the motorway queue. Needs the front driveshaft joint checking as looks to have thrown some oil / grease about there. On the other hand we didn't get the steering shimmy today.

Gave the old girl new front brake pads and guide pins. had noticed drivers side wheel was getting dirty with brake dust after a couple of days as of late. Good job had bought the guide pin kits as the old ones were seized and rubbers split drivers side. Old ones came out without too much effort so everything OK:D
Well done mate, always good practice to change the lot at same time as makes things a lot easier. Did you use copper great on the slider pins and pad seats??
