Ran out of diesel....
Rushing about as wife was into hospital
So today i was on child duty and both cats had the vet all around the 3pm time of day.
Fuel light came on less then a mile from home last night.
Fired up fuel light just come on 38mile of range, oh thats fine im only going 1mile from home at most.
Childs nursery half mile away.... Drop him..... Home cat number 1 in box down to vet back home get cat 2.... Drop cat 1 home.... Pick up son.... Cat 2 on way home..... Konk out of fuel (outside my house) 38mile range needle still just a tiny bit into the orange light it cut out.

So since its been like it after a year and 2 pumps and half senders tried i got creative...

Threw a 5L of diesel in according to digital level readings it had 9L

So upto my unit. And disobeyed raves instructions. (as i suspected someone's messed this up previously)

So what i did was leave the 5L in the tank left
Pulled up the digital readout with key on and opened up the tank acess panel and with the float on the right side of the tank pushed all the way down to empty it still said it had 4L of fuel.

So with battery attached disconnected the fuel pump/level connector and added another 5L turned the key on and then reconnected the pump.... Off and on with the key and it stayed where it was previously.

Digital readings saying approx 9L in the tank with me knowing there was nearly 10L

Then with acess panel still removed and key on i managed to push the float down again and got an "empty" reading of 0.2L my previous was 4L

Went and played fuel light roulette my gauge finally actually went all the way down to the 0 line and read 1 mile of range when i bottled out put 20L of derv out a drum in her digital reading gave an estimate of 15L

I know dont fully rely on the gauge keep it topped up ect but that was embarrassing enough

Spent most of the day trying to find my low ratio fault got ecu out and striker motor to get tested tomoz then deep clean inside interier as its rank in there

Finished fitting the driver's seat cover with the one supplied by @pete12345 ,thanks again mate I can confirm a passenger side cover does fit the driver's . I had to change the colour and have to re do the piping so photos to follow when it's done. Had to recalibrate the EAS because the car looked like a dog cocking it's leg and The Boss was having difficulty getting in. Made me laugh
