I thought that ,and just to make his day ....When my windscreen defrosts it takes about a minute or so an its all over ,yours looks like its only the fan air thats clearing yours ,.......

That's true,I've two more in the garage that do. Loss of peripheral vision post stroke and sandstone gate post don't go together. Thank God its returned.

I think your right mine goes in vertical lines all the way across.

No fan on just the heated screen.only the passenger side worked after fitting .both sides work now. Backed it into the sun for an Easyjet de-ice,once sat on a plane that was pushed back from stand into the sun for 20minutes. Every penny counts.

Should have bought a long reach ice scraper ,,,,Cheaper than a screen and might last longer ...

Just be out and started mine pressed the prog button which puts screen on then went in and put a coat on and grab phone,so 2-3 min

You can clearly see the lines.

Yep thats like mine , And two triangles left n right ,gust enough to rip the rubber off the wiper blades

I never used the prog button just the heated screen to prove the screen worked.

It should still clear the screen all the way up as the heat the whole screen up as one not just start at the bottom.
i may have a couple off wires not working but it was only on for very little time.

Perhaps I should have waited longer before taking the second photo.

read somewhere that water ingress is the primary reason for individual elements failing

Nice Rangie @tomcat59alan, same colour as mine.
I used the "PROG" defrost function today and the packed snow just slid off the screen after a few minutes.
Parked it back in the same spot after doing the weeks shopping and reconnected the Ctek charger (every little helps).

Thanks Dan,I never used the prog button, I wasn't going anywhere just wanted to check both sides of the new screen worked. Moved it into the sun to clear the car,I'll go and put it in the garage now so I don't have to wait for the screen to clear on Friday, early hospital appointment.
