Hi, had this posted in the wrong forum, I'm new to using forums so if I'm doing anything wrong please correct me.

I'm just wondering if anyone could give any advice with regards to my L322 (2004 - Diesel Auto) Range Rover. I've had an ongoing "Air Suspension Inactive" fault, but this is now the least of my problems. Whilst looking into this issue (trying to clear the fault) a neighbour had a basic diagnostic tool, I should have known better than to use it but unfortunately I did. After being pkug in it gave no real information and no reset function, the tool was removed and I never real thoughtanything had gone wrong however, when driving the car the next day I noticed the head unit (radio/sat nav, etc.) Was not able to power up, after this I also realised that my indicators were not showing on the dash when operated. The car was taken home at this point and I started searching the Internet for remedies (no much found that I thought specifically related to the issues I encountered). Upon going back out to the car the following day the battery was dead, I jumped the car which started without issue (after building up the charge). The issues remain and the battery (new 10 months ago) now continually discharges enough so the car won't start after around 30 minutes.

Any form of advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks JC

Diagnostic with proper LR equipment to see what comes up.
Jump starting a flat battery & expecting the alternator to fully charge it is a mistake.
This will at best build up a surface charge.
Your battery is deeply discharged & unless you fully charge it with a battery charger is staying that way.
If you continue to do this you are likely to need a new battery AND a new alternator as they aren't intended to keep charging flat batteries.
Possible that the low state of charge is causing your other issues.
Not just my opinion:

Thanks for the info and the quick reply, I'll get the battery off and fully charged And check out the linke thanks

Before you refit the battery touch the battery pos and neg leads together (no battery remember ) it can reset some some of the electrical gubins and after refitting the battery and starting the car you will have to turn steering wheel lock to lock to reset steering angle sensor for suspension to work.

Hi All, thanks for your advice so far . Turns out my battery was damaged (even though it was only 2 years old and half decent). Replaced the battery today and resolved a great deal of the electrical issues. After fitting the new battery found it to be draining, done a little research on the forum and found that fuse 49 (sat nav/head unit stuff I believe) was a potential cause. Confirmed this with the multimeter, and pulled the fuse for now. Checked the luggage compartment on the left and found moisture (as per potential causes on previous threads). Going to remove this and dry them all out to see if I can sort the issue. One issue not sorted is my central locking, will not work off the key fob at all, can use the key to open and close the drivers door (and start car), the central locking will work from the button under the hazards lights, I've tried the re-sync of the key without look and changed the battery for new, red light shines when operated but nothing??

Most annoying car ever, but I love it

And again thanks for the help and advice
