Morning all
Nice n fresh out doors sun is out looks nice. Got the pouch to take to the vet later she has
got an ear infection, 50 quid please to clean her ear & 10 quid bottle of ear drops that you
cant buy over the counter.
The vets is a family business the father is a w@nker rough as hell, cant change the vets either
as they are all fully booked. The daughters are friendly & caring but you wouldnt ride them into battle.

I know guineafowl hates me saying it but the vets over ere are so caring and reasonable. We avoids goin to thewones in Engerland as they charge like fu ck and they don't follow stuff up so well, except the french girl who works for them, but you can't book her!Morning all

But if it's just dirty ears we go in and just tell em what we want, we gets the cleaning stuff and the drops. We don't have to pay for a consultation we don't need and cleaning is easy enough. If they don't get better we can always take em back later.

And this is what Stanley has been playing with recently.
Before, an unloved corner or the utility, the door never used , except by the first lot of burglars. If we did open it we'd fall into the chicken run!
After.
New freezer opens with about 1mm to spare and the shelves made of matching sh!tboard cupboard deco panels, saved from when kitchen was first down 11 years ago and supported by three battens each, halving joints as no one came back and told me I was wrong!
All painted in the original sunflower yellow used for the kitchen walls, again 11 years ago!!! (I never throw anything away!)
If door needs to be opened it would take seconds as the only screwed fittings are the battens to the side.
Wifey loves it! And I am pleased it is quite neat and we now have wall to wall shelves and cupboards on that side. Just the other side to do .....
Oh and a more permanent leccy fix.

The pics tell all, I think but the nightmare was the fear of breaking the thermocouple type temp sensors, hence all the ffing about to provide support while making all the electrical connections.
And no I was not going to drain the tank to put the immersion heater elements in! The old ones work fine and i now have a spare should i need it.
The water damage is a bit of a mystery as there has never been a leak frrom the tank. We think it is caused by the fact that during the winter, when we are not here, there is bery little heating in the house and in the enclosed space of the green box, the water vapour condenses because it is attached directly to the tank. Elsewhere in the cupboard there is no water at all. Think this is an unwanted side effect of the insulation of a 300 litre tank!

Good evening from oxford. Once parked up I find I’m going elsewhere, only an hour back up the road I just came down. Why can’t they ring me & tell me of the changes. They know where I am as I’m trackered & a polite turn off here would not have gone a miss. So been to Chester & Birmingham today. Well at least it’s stopped raining

Apparently it has some special conditions attached that I qualify for. It was taken out 30 years ago when the rules were different.

Did you hang on to any od the paperwork from back then ?
I managed to hang on to a few sheets that may have earned me a 'continuation of service' addition ...

Yes indeed, I have the original plan. The pension company is now part of a bigger financial outfit and they seem to be baulking at paying out.
