Defender 90 colour?

So my youngest now has his first foray into the green oval. Registered 2000 on a W Td5.
Anyone know the colour?

Sorry I don't have any idea of the colour, but WOW its in your face isn't it.
Ask royal mail or BT
Has he looked at the VIN plate under bonnet may have the paint code stamped and may still be original.

But looks nice though

Nothing on Vin plate.

If you go to a car paint mixing place they will have paint cards of every known colour, in less than a minute they will have an exact match.
That's probably the easiest way, it looks too shiny to be original but possible I guess.

That's a super looking TD5 90...are you sure it's a TD5 and not a 300TDi? If TD5 it's had en engine change. Hoping the underside is as clean as the topside, your son must be really chuffed with his new purchase. Now for the many security items needed...

Definitely Td5. I've had a disco 2 previously.

I think it's had a respray...and looks all the better for it. Have a friend with a Tomato Red 90 Hardtop, 77k miles from new, the quietest 300tdi engine known to man...and a great looking job. Only now it's starting to settle down thanks to sunlight/weather and is very, very smart.

I dont think it has had a respray. Same colour on inside. Load area same aswell but very worn.
Picture was taken the day he bought it. I may have given it a little machine polish since.

I would be surprised if it hadn't been resprayed, but either the original colour was still a variety of red, or the owner took the time to update Swansea about a change of colour.
Average of 5k miles a year for the first 12 years and a squeaky clean mot record during that time. Airport use possibly??? Def not Royal Mail!!!!
