I'll get a 4" lift then, just to be sure. And get some piston return springs fitted for extra torque
You really didn't need to join the forum, you already know stuff! Or were you looking for a price on the series 1 with 300tdi and coil springs that was a prototype your late friend left you with no V5 but you are sure is legit?

It doesn't have a v5 because it predates them and yes it's legit, the cut down disco chassis still has its number stamped on it

Today I is mostly being head green keeper at Wimblowdriver Towers. (I cut the grass already). Any of you gardinging experts got a good way of eradicating chafer grubs, they keep scoffing my grass from the underside. (Nematodes currently top of the list). Head phones being charged up ready for tinterweb n watching my team get beat (they are crap) in their first serious game of the new season of kicking a ball round an empty stadium. Chivas Regal on standby .

I have the same chafer problem. If you have damson or plum trees, cut em down cos it's these that attract them to the garden. You need to take off all the dead grass were the little devils have eaten the roots and at the end of this month apply nematodes which will seek out and eat the chaffer grubs. Alternative, let your lawn completely die, leave it for three years and then relawn. I cut my tree down in 2010 but I still get an infestation. The bugs will continue to invade your garden whilst there is grass roots for this grubs to feed on.

Not a great start to the day. :(
Cat has left me 3 different presents today VOM, a completely full bladder of wee all over a kitchen chair and the floor and a pooh on the paper on the worktop.
As I am first up 90% of the time it usually falls to me to deal with all this $hit ( + Pee + Pooh :p) really getting tired of it TBH.
Nothing physically wrong with the cat, its just mental.
Other than that it is a fairly pleasant day out there. Mild temps and not raining.
Plumbing the bodge probably today :(
Have a good day everyone :D
Makes us wonder why people "put the cat out" every night. you must be tempted, cept it'd prolly just come and mew under the window all night long!

It needs to be strong all the gear off the roof of the disco is going on it, the pervious owner
of the trailer had a similar frame but he kept it  I couldnt do much about it either as I got
it uplifted via a courier, no option but to make another.
The gas is a co2/argon mix 15L bottle I did use most of it welding the D1 box section sill
old cr@p previous repairs that I chopped out, So I used the dregs to glue the frame on.:)
And I also know you said it's a 90 mile round trip for a new bot! What a bugre!

I take it the previous session didnt go well then, hardest part of mig is setting the machine up
& the metal needs to be clean. Nice to weld new metal rather than rusty landys lol
I too prefer stick welding to Mig, my son-in-law always manages to weld well with my MIG but I struggle with it and it is the setting up that seems to be the problem.
Don't know if it is me or the machine If I was sure it was the machine, I'd buy a new one. Yet i have no problems with stick except, obvs, on the really thin stuff!

My mate has a Jack Russell (inherited) long story & it does the same thing & when they
go out, it cr@ps everywhere then parades through it smearing it all over the place, he put it in
a cage it does then same but rolls about in it, I shouldnt laugh.....
He's up at all hours letting it out I do feel sorry for them he got up for a pee the other night
& had the feeling of warm watery turd squishing through his toes then he tried to find the
light switch & stepped in more with the other foot then slipped & landed in it haha
Poor sod..
Don't!
Our fu cking dogs got us up 4 times last night to let them out, that's a personal best for them, a personal worst for the both of us!

The white and red days are over the winter so if you are only there in the summer then okay system, I had it but the cost of the red days where a killer, so changed to simple day night tariff, if people live here all year unless you are happy to play the game of siting in the dark and not using anything electric on red days,
EDF are not easy to deal with but most of the people that I have come across that work for them are okay when you deal with them one to one
Quite see your point about "tarif tempo" and being there all year round.
Also the poor sods who work for Enedis, who are the only ones I ever interface with, i have to feel sorry for as they are kept in the dark and so cannot know what they are doing. Like the guy who had to borrow tools off me to do the meter change last year. Meter readers never know where the meter is, depsite me sending both EDF and Enedis pictures, maps etc.
Tis the office wallahs who don't pass stuff on. and the techys don't get their own van so have to carry extra tools they think thyey might need into work every day to do the job the best they can.
Wouldn't want their job!

It's just started absolutely teaming down here in the North Walian hills.
It wasn't forecast but funnily enough, I sensed it this afternoon when my Spidey senses started tingling haha. I put my outside chairs and things away, just as I had finished it started spitting. Then nothing until now lol ️

Hope your ok ;)

Oh, the eldest daughter passed her teacher degree with Honours.
She's now a teacher, she is thinking of doing masters.

@Stanleysteamer
Sorry i didn't buy your book but thanks for your advice
Nig, do give her my congratulations, and if she is thinking of becoming a secondary school teacher with a sixth form, then she may want to have a look at the books as one is for teacher and tother is for the kids in years 12 and 13. If you pm me I can send my email address and she can contact me directly. I will send her author copies which will cost her nothing.
Best of luck to both of you!!

Morning All :D
Paper is collected, cat fed, coffee made and.... :D
It appears I am to "assist" in tanking the shower area at my son's place this weekend.
Herself says I am also to give up my Sunday to help them un-box stuff and sort their kids rooms out :eek::eek:
I don't remember either being unable to do this for myself at 36 or my parents being so involved in my life.:(
The mind boggles.
If I was you I'd catch a really bad cold with a hacking dry cough and loss of taste.
