She has indeed . She ran back and forwards to London, when she was really needed, and she stepped up to the job. More than 1000mile round trip each time.
When she was no longer needed for the important job, she had a little collapse, but again nothing major. I was , as said, intending to take her in anyway.
Maybe she and I need a rest :)
Nah, you two need to keep on trucking baby!!
I love mine to bits and enjoy bombing down the motorway at 70 chomping miles. It rolled into 219,000mls this evening.

We will continue when she comes home :D However, I am looking at a Series III , to keep her company. Although my head is saying buy a Defender, not a Series.
Whatever happens, she's only in to get some tlc. A short time at the spa, a deep tissue massage, pedicure, indian head massage, soft pillows, soothing music, etc ;)

Thats your wish list really:D

Hmmm series 3 or defender...
That is not an easy choice.. thinking-face_1f914.png

Test drive my dear! A week with each model if the kind man would oblige ;)

Therein lies a problem. These are vehicles that will be built to spec. They sit in 'save me' condition until someone picks one. Then he gets to work , doing a Cinderella transformation.
Although I know how both drive. I've been driving them for decades. I even learned in a Series III. Then stared with longing, when the first 'Defender' came into the MT shed.

not an easy decision.... Series three for the sake of err confort :D

Nah. Even if they didn't look like something a five year old drew, I want something with character. Something that speaks to me. Modern cars don't do that :(
I hear you there, plastic pretender!!
Wait for the new INEOS Grenadier now that INEOS have won the court case where JLR tried to stop them.
That'll be a real challenge for land-rover to compete with a more potential vehicle.
