Hi Everyone
After just going through a divorce and having to sell the house I thought I would spend my half of the house on a Landie.
So I am now the proud owner of a 1998 Defender 90 300tdi.
This is my 1st landie (and I'm 50) so I'm not sure if I've done the right thing lol

Seriously, a 300tdi is pretty-well bombproof, lot easier to work on than a TD5. Anniversary is nice year to have. I have a soft spot for Anniversary as out first Disco is also a 1998.
You just have to get on top of the rust and then go through it in a measured way. You'll find tons of help on here.
But first of all make sure it is parked up in a very secure place and get some extra security on it cos the scrotes out there will want to nick either it or bits off it, as the second-hand market for nicked parts is very strong. :(:(:(
Best of luck!
