I bought an early Freelander last year, and whenever I Google problems it always brings me to this site. So thought I'd sign up.

Be prepared for all the jokes about Hippo's.......er, Freelanders, but to be fair, they're a good vehicle and more capable off the tarmac than many like to give credit.

Like all Land Rovers, they'll have their faults/issues, but there's a good crowd here, with a massive collective knowledge base.
