P38A Rear quarter window removal and installation

How easy is it to remove? I smashed mine in February and I've found one nearby to replace it with. My guy says come and take it out if you want it.

Straightforward job?

Easy peasy, just did mine to replace the window seals. Just peel the inside rubber seal back from the top down and push out.

Mind you, I am talking about the door quarters, maybe you are looking at doing the rear windows?

Yes the rear quarter window, the rearmost window on the side. The one with the radio aerial in it.

Easy peasy, be careful taking the plastic sill off along the bottom, little tangs go and it can snap easily. Put something through the rubber and peel out (or in I don’t remember)
Take your time first time around you’ll be fine

Fitment is reverse of removal

I had this one replaced a few years back due to a large crack. I had an auto glass company do it, they cut the bonding and popped it with suction cups, re sealed and fitted, took them about 30mins, although the bill didn’t reflect that!
The rear door was easy though

Aye, I thought you meant the door one
I sealed one in (not the neatest job), but taking it out wasn’t an issue - they do it automatically when you’re upside down
